Holly Kelly is a board-certified spinal rehabilitation and pain management specialist at Future Medical Group. She grew up in San Rafael graduating from San Domenico High School before continuing her studies in Ohio. She is very happy to be serving the community where she grew up.
As a spinal rehabilitation specialist, the best part of her job is eliminating pain and helping patients return to an active lifestyle. By specializing in interventional and non-surgical care, she is able to use simple treatments and injections that can have a major impact on improving a patient’s quality of life. It is very rewarding to help someone feel better while avoiding a potentially unnecessary surgery.
Holly started her training at Oberlin College in Ohio, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. Returning to Marin County to work as a physical therapy aid after college allowed her the opportunity to work hand’s on in designing and implementing orthopedic rehabilitation programs. It is this experience that piqued her interest in the field of non-operative care of spinal disorders. She returned to Ohio to receive her medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo.
Following medical school her training included a one year internship in Internal Medicine at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, a three year residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UC Davis Medical Center, and a one year Fellowship in Pain Management also at UC Davis Medical Center. She held a position in the Interventional Spine Clinic at Kaiser Richmond Medical Center before joining Marin Orthopedics and Sports Medicine where she has practiced since 2005.
For the past 12 years, Dr. Kelly has provided excellent non-operative spinal interventional care to her patients and is excited to be able to offer the latest Regenerative Medicine options to her patients through Future Medical Group. She enjoys being in a practice where she can spend time with her patients, get to know them, and treat them with the care and respect they deserve while providing state of the art therapies.
